Paramore - The Only Exception -Part Two

This is the second page on how to play the guitar for Paramore's "The Only Exception." Part one can be found here. In this segment we'll take a look how to play the guitar part for the Post-Chorus, Post-Verse, and Bridge.

The Post-Chorus

This section only happens once in the song and it's very easy. The guitar is the same as the beginning of the verse or chorus. It's just a few extra measures of the chord you're going to in the verse. Basically it's there just to add a backdrop for a vocal transition and make the song more interesting and less symmetric.

The Post-verse

This part is a straight forward rhythm. It provides the first relief from the constant rhythm used up to now.

The Bridge

Now we take a trip out of Emajor (more technically B-Mixolydian) into the relative minor: C#minor.

To Be Continued...

We have just a tiny bit left to look at. Part three is found here. We'll take a look at the bridge ending, the outro and then figure out how to put it all together. The complete tab will also be there in several different formats to choose from.
